Vintage MCM Corona Bowl by Lars Hellstren for Orrefors, Sweeden, circa 1970s

Inspired by the ethereal glow of moonlight, the Corona crystal bowl stands as one of Orrefors' most timeless and top-selling designs. Designed by Lars Hellsten: This classic piece features an octagonal shape, with each side gracefully tapering from a substantial base to a rounded pinnacle. This example is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks. It's a beautiful piece of Scandinavian design, known for its flared form and scalloped edges, reminiscent of a crown (hence the name "Corona").
