Gibigiana Table Lamp by Achille Castiglioni for Flos

Gibigiana Table Lamp by Achille Castiglioni for Flos, Milan, Italy, circa 1980. This is a great bridge piece between the high-tech look of the 1970s and the 80s postmodern aesthetic. Constructed of enameled steel, aluminum, and silvered glass with a molded manufacturer's mark on the lamp's underside. It measures 3 3/4"w x 5"d x 17 1/2"h and features an adjustable mirrored shade with a dimmable switch.
It would be a stretch to say this Gibigiana is in excellent shape; it might even be a stretch to say she's in good shape. That said, she's still standing and working (she even looks great—from a short distance, that is). The pictures do a good job of providing detail; if you have any questions, let me know.
