Green Cylindrical Vase by Aldo Londi for Bitossi, Italy circa 1970s

Designed by Aldo Londi, this is a piece from the "Fascie Colorate" or "Color Striped" Series of Italian Modern vessels. The cylindrical vase boasts a clear glossy glaze adorned with white, yellow, and various shades of green stripes. Produced between 1970 and 1972 by Bitossi in Italy, it was made for the importer and retailer Rosenthal-Netter. You'll find the Rosenthal-Netter paper label proudly displayed on the bottom. This vase is in excellent condition with a tiny nick as shown in the pictures.
